The Atari Punk Console is a fun simple synthesizer circuit using two 555 IC chips to create square wave tones, with the two oscillators interacting to create stepped tone sequences and bleepy bloopy noise! This one also has a built in fuzz circuit that is controlled by the ‘texture’ knob to add some grain and extra harmonics to the sound, and it’s very interactive with the oscillators.
This one is built into a repurposed guitar pedal enclosure with 9V power input and jack output so it’s small and easy to use - just plug in, turn on and twiddle away!
